Assistants carry out everyday personal tasks rather than advise on them: finding childcare, booking a car inspection, ordering groceries on a budget, handling government paperwork. Tasks come from time-use surveys and from about 100 people who recorded tasks they wanted an assistant to handle. Score is average reward across tasks.
OpenAI reports only its own models: GPT-6 Astra at 80.6%, GPT-5.6 at 80.0% and GPT-5.2 at 49.3%. OpenAI says it used LifeVal internally for a year before the launch.
